I just tested this remote and found that a lot of the commands just don't work. For example, turning my projector on or off doesn't work, and using it again for my TV doesn't work no matter what I do, and yes, my TV remote is NEC compatible. Also when I use for example the button on top of the remote to pause/start a movie this happens but when I press it again the movie starts with no sound and then I have to start the movie again and control the video Use app to fast forward where I left off. Since I only use this remote for my projector and nothing else I keep it to myself now that I know what works, what works most of the time and what doesn't. However, if I need such a remote control for other things, e.g. a TV, I would throw them away.
