Looks better than it should. Easy to assemble

This bookshelf did exactly what I wanted it to do. He keeps my books. Many books. And yet it looks pretty good, not cheap at all, and suits a house full of very nice, well-crafted woodwork. If I now rock the bookshelf a little to the side, it wobbles a little. It's NOT like it's made out of hardwood and paired with intricate carpentry work. No, that is not so. You use hex head screws and screw them in to attach the shelves, back crossbars and crown. But it holds books and there's a lot of them, no flex and looks very nice. I had compliments on her, one from a person who does woodworking. He knew they didn't work well on wood, but he thought they looked good, better than expected for the price. I bought them at Espresso. And it's a dark wood tone that really goes with almost anything. My house is full of hickory, floors, cabinets, closets, baseboards, all the wood is hickory. These bookshelves look great as a dark contrast against all the light wood.
