Great addition to my tanning bed!

We had gotten to the point where our only bookshelf was doubled and books were hidden throughout the house. I bought it ten years ago in a store that no longer exists, so a perfect match was impossible. This bookcase fits pretty well, if not perfectly. I would also say it's more cherry than hazel, it's a warmer brown than regular hazel. My kids wanted to get paid to help build it, so I did it myself. It was pretty quick - all the parts were there, no damage, and all the holes lined upโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not the best

Looks better than it should. Easy to assemble

This bookshelf did exactly what I wanted it to do. He keeps my books. Many books. And yet it looks pretty good, not cheap at all, and suits a house full of very nice, well-crafted woodwork. If I now rock the bookshelf a little to the side, it wobbles a little. It's NOT like it's made out of hardwood and paired with intricate carpentry work. No, that is not so. You use hex head screws and screw them in to attach the shelves, back crossbars and crown. But it holds books and there's a lot of them,

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Definitely good value for money

Certainly not walnut, cherry, precious wood --- but this bookshelf is made of 100% natural wood. NO chipboard, no chipboard covered with industrial grade contact paper. real tree. Easy to assemble. Took me about 35 minutes without stopping. Sturdy for what I use it for - a bookshelf (can you imagine that!?) and it's filled with hardcover and paperback books. Of course, using the meaning, you want all the heaviest things to be placed on the bottom shelf, and then in a closet at the very bottomโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Natural wood, cumbersome crate, get by mail, by mail

Was good - smaller than some bookcases so pay attention to measurements but real wood (very dark walnut stained) and easy to assemble. It comes in a long, narrow box that's awkward to handle and weighs over 30 pounds. So if you live in a place where large boxes need to be picked up from the post office (as we've done for anything that doesn't fit in our mailboxes or the included parcel lockers), remember you need a way to get it pick up and home delivery if mailed like we do. Luckily there areโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stable test results

  • High price

Better than I expected

The good news is that this is real wood, not MDF or chipboard. It's not a very good wood and certainly not real walnut, but at least it doesn't crumble when you touch it. Note though that they spliced and glued the pieces together so I'm not sure how long these seams will last before breaking. However, seams are only part of the strength problem. The way it is assembled, and you assemble it yourself, is that the studs are inserted into the shelves from the side panels, the studs are the onlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some bugs

Quality - Looks great - (Late 2019 review with tips)

Very happy with the bookshelf. For less than $100, this is a pretty good deal. The good ones: - Solid pine - Sturdy but not heavy - Stain (walnut) cool - Arrived undamaged with all the parts needed - Instructions are clear - No nails - Assembly was a moderate/easy task (I've seen a lot worse) Poor : - Large screws have square holes that require allen wrenches (much more inconvenient than using a screwdriver) - Assembly time is quite long - mainly because they only include 1 allen wrench - (Twoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Poor set

Bookcase with the best value for money

Technically this is the second bookcase I have bought. First one I bought from Wayfair and I really like this bookshelf. The mission style bookcase sold here is EXACTLY the same bookcase but costs almost half what I paid at Wayfair. I wasn't sure if it was the same bookshelf but I saw the pictures and adjusted the sizes so I crossed my fingers it was the same. When I opened the box and saw that the assembly instructions were exactly the same, I danced a little to my delight. The only difference

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Damaged
