I bought this to replace the (useless) 1.0A USB ports in our RV. We have a Keystone Cougar with a rectangular panel that holds the original USB chargers. The quick charger has a round shape; The "round" hole created by Keystone was smaller than required for this device; So I sanded a slightly larger hole to fit properly in the wall. However; This design assumes you can reach the "back" of the charger to tighten the nut to the wall surface. I wanted to use the same plates that the original USB ports in the Puma are attached to. Using a hole saw and drill I was able to cut the original USB charger out of the plastic panels, sand down the rough edges, insert this new fast charging USB stick into the original panel and tighten. Using tees I was able to easily connect the black/red wires to the power supply as an original panel (lots of wiring/length) and make them look like original equipment. I bought 3 more of these once I was convinced I could use them effectively; and immediately I got fast load times on my devices (hooray!). I recommend this device; it seems to work very well and the blue light doesn't bother us; Actually, I think it's good that we check whether it works when they light up. I left the plastic insert on the charger so I can cover it when not in use if I want. I would definitely buy them again.
