I bought four of these for my little son. At 6 months he got used to them immediately. I like that they are screwed to the bag, they attach so well and I have never been able to get him to take them off. They are not leakproof as they are actually soft, straw-like extensions. They are very durable and well made and after 7 months of serious teething for my youngest son they still look brand new. These are the only bag attachments my child has wanted to use in the 8 months since I bought them as his first. I also found this to be the only attachment compatible with the EasyPouch EasyPouch Independence - the no squeeze, no mess, pouched baby food delivery system. [2 packs]. When used with the EasyPouch, the internal clutter is contained in the part of the straw that squirts when thrown firmly on a hard surface. I have 8 ChooMe toppers and 4 of them and I have to wash them all every day as my kids love them so much. Good product! Update: My son is now 14 months and just took off one of his toppers for the first time. He actually ate it and tugged at it. When it came loose I realized it wasn't a choking hazard. I'm a little paranoid about freedom of the airway. (I'm a nurse) and wasn't afraid at all that he would choke on it. As your child gets older and stronger this can sometimes work, but it poses no risk to your child.
