Works perfectly. These lamps have many advantages: Excellent dimming range. Strong magnet. It is convenient that it can be easily removed and inserted. We lose energy sometimes, and it's handy when it happens. The magnet also makes it easier to charge the battery. Speaking of the battery, I like that there are no messy cable issues and that it's easy to install anywhere. I also like that it is NOT motion activated. I like being able to just turn them on and off whenever I want and not when I don't want to. We use them in our bedroom closets and if they were motion activated they would turn on every time someone opened the closet door. We don't want that. We love being able to occasionally open the closet door without turning on the light when the other person is sleeping. And since it doesn't turn on when we don't want to turn it on, it also saves battery life. I only have two minor complaints: 1) I wish they had a more neutral color temperature. They are very blue, probably in the 6000-6500K color temperature range. Not only is the color quite unattractive, it gives whatever it illuminates a blue tint that distorts the colors of the clothes in our closets. I see that OxyLED also sells some models (not very many) that emit an amber (warm) light. They are probably rated 3000K but would be too yellow. I would prefer bulbs rated at 4000K, which is considered a neutral color, neither yellow nor blue. Even better, I want both to be 4000K and have a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of at least 90 to better illuminate real colors. 2) The light on/off button is very easy to activate when something touches it. However, this is not a problem if it is installed where it should be, away from other objects.
