Makes the child feel independent
My child loves these shoes. So easy to put on and take off. I like them because they look just like the retro adult Nike Cortez shoes (no velcro straps, of course). I love the leather toe pocket on these shoes because my kid rides his Strider bike all the time and the only way to stop him is to tug his toes to stop the bike. The toes on these shoes are bruised but not yet knocked out from a ton of abuse.
