I was installing my wife's computer and other office equipment in her new home office and wanted to tidy up the cables. These worked great. They are long enough to fit around the table legs and I was even able to place them in the places I needed with one hand (with some effort). All you have to do is place the wires where you want to hold them, wrap them around the wires and any other item you attach to something, then thread the end through the eyelet and pull it tight. The eyelet has a ratchet so the wire is taut but not loose. Then all you need to do is use scissors to cut off the excess length of the tie. Some people might prefer a pure color, but black suited me well. You get 100 ties for a very reasonable price with first class shipping so I am very satisfied. If I were forced to complain it would be that the packaging isn't airtight, but that's a pretty stupid complaint for the price. I also bought identical 4" zip ties, but they were too short for most applications (I've used them in a few cases).
