Review on πŸ”§ Gardner Bender GPS 3228 Electrical Diagonal: Precision Tool for Effortless Wire Trimming by Aaron Ward

You get what you pay for, but not really.

After my perfect pair of pliers wore out after about 4 years of use, I just had to stick with what I knew and buy the same ones again. This was a big disappointment. One of the cutting blades is not fully sharpened. So if you need to cut something with a lot of force, stick it all the way in, but it just breaks the wire, doesn't cut it. After wearing them for about a month and a half, the tip of one of the blades broke off yesterday. I went back to my tools, pulled out my old perfect router bits and did the same thing, which I did with no problem. As an electrician it is very important for me to have a reliable set of cutters and this turns out not to be the right one. Don't waste your time and money buying this. I will never buy Gardner Bender products again - I will return to Klein and Ideal products. If you're looking for something that's unreliable, takes a lot of power to get its way, and doesn't even do what it's supposed to do very well, then you've found what you're looking for. Otherwise, take your money and buy a real instrument.
