I usually boil about a dozen eggs each week to keep lunch and snacks on hand. If I put them in the fridge in regular boxes, I can always smell them when I open the door. Not terrible, but not great either. I had a plastic egg carton that folds in three, sort of like an extra lid, and it was nice and you could see which eggs were being cooked from the outside, but I saw a mention of it on Facebook. group and decided it was worth a try. I use glass containers that close like this to store food and I really like them. Well, it works amazingly well. Keeps the smell in the fridge and also very easy to open and close, no chance of pulling the wrong side of the lid and throwing the eggs away which I almost did with the other one at times. Additionally, since it's a very different type of container, it's clear to everyone in the house that these are boiled eggs.
