When filming with your phone. or any other medium, the best thing you can do to improve the quality of your final presentation is to improve the audio. Phone audio in general is very poor and as a YouTuber I personally spent a lot of time cleaning it up for my channel when using my phone for a quick video. Here's what I like 1. Easily adjustable tripod, durable.2. No extra adapter required and holds the phone very well.3. Small and light.4. The vibration cancellation works very well - I was really impressed.5. The foam windshield and accompanying dead cat work really well. They are part of a package that others charge for.6. ¼-20 ports allow you to mount it on any tripod or add other add-ons for more versatility.7. The cold shoe mount on the microphone allows you to attach it to ANY video or camera with a hot shoe or cold shoe mount.8. It comes with a cable to connect to your phone, so no adapter is needed.9. Customized foam bag for safe carrying when traveling.10. Small and lightweight, so carrying it with you should never be a problem. Here's what I would change 1. The cable that comes with it only works with the phone it's intended for. To use it with a camcorder or other camera you will need a different cable with 1/8 inch ends. This isn't really a problem as you can usually get them at any gas station. I personally wish there was a phone mic clip included. This is a great package with a clean little mic that also works with any camcorder with any of you posting at least 3-4 videos every week. . I photograph cycling, racing with large groups of cyclists, and I've shot videos for other people on which my name will never appear. I am also a photographer for myself and others. The sound reproduced by this microphone is initially pure and can be used as it was recorded. It can also be easily upgraded to a professional level as it is very clean.
