These water filters are common on GE filters and I'm usually a big fan of these bargains. In this case it was too substandard products. Installation is easy enough, but the rubber gasket didn't fit properly and ended up leaking everywhere. I didn't find out until 12 hours after installing it, so it was a bit messy. As far as I can tell, only one of them leaked. I added more petroleum jelly but it came out again. I then added a rubber O-ring (3/16") which is probably too small. I hope this fixes the situation, time will tell. Now I'm testing it.
