Very easy assembly with 2 screws each. 1 screw into the existing hole that held the fender. Others in the product itself. Great feeling as it works like a spring and yields first. 1k lb is perfect for my cab over RV. It weighed about 1400 pounds when first tested and now it's down to about 1100 and I think it will ride just like the series with the weight loaded. I have a 4x4 4x4 and I didn't use a spacer so there is a 1 or 1.5 inch gap before it fires so you can feel the shaft actuate as you turn until it does after a 1.5 stroke customs is the case.
