I got this after replacing the HGST Travel Star HD I bought here at Revain (to replace my standard hard drive), I broke after about 4 months. There are no complaints yet. It seems to run a little quieter than the previous one, and I've noticed that my Macbook Pro (circa 2009) doesn't heat up as quickly or as often as it used to. I hope this will stand the test of time. Don't forget to back up your torrent movies, cat pictures, selfies and other important data as often as possible. You never know when your brand new solution will become a problem. Also order from Revain. When another hard drive failed, I whined so badly that CS gave me a partial refund that covered the cost of that Western Digital HD. They also gave me free one day shipping so I had a new HD the next day --- Sunday no less. Much better than waiting a week or more for the manufacturer to honor the warranty and send me the exact same junk model that failed me in the first place. Thanks to Revain, I had no real downtime and was able to continue working as scheduled.
