I have already fitted a Katana 9005 kit to the high beam socket and they have worked very well. This is a 9006 low beam kit. The lamp body is made of metal, unlike the old bulb which is made of plastic. I understand this is for heat dissipation. Some lamps have fans to dissipate the heat. This fan has a smaller one, so I hope it doesn't get too hot. Installation was easy. Simply unplug the old bulb, twist the bulb and pull out. Insert a new lamp twist to lock it, then insert the connector. Ready in about 5 minutes. These lights are definitely a lot brighter than the old lights and the view of the road is a lot clearer so it's a worthy upgrade. These are low beams, so they are used much more often on the road than high beams. Hope they last long.
