It was exactly what I was looking for. A quality recording stabilizer that was easy to use, effective and didn't look pretentious with a bunch of built-in logos or balance bubbles. It's quite tall, but it fit under the dust cover of my Yamaha GT-5000 even with it closed. I would say the sound is slightly better than my recordings as it seems to remove some of the residual vibration I picked up through my case. But the improvements were minimal. However, it keeps my vinyl firmly connected to the platter so I know I'm getting the best possible performance from the arm, cartridge and platter connection. That's a hell of a deal for less than $30!
