Review on Saniflo 008 SANIVITE Heavy Duty Water Pump - Gray Color, Enhanced for Higher Ranking by Steve Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you can't do a gradient at 1/4 inch per foot, this is a great option.

I've heard of Sani-Flo and all the different products for solving non-sloped drain problems are very good difficult to tilt to drain. In this case, a stove problem caused the kitchen sink drain to become unusable. Had to go outside, dig and install 2 inch PVC pipe, cut and smash the concrete driveway and then walk about 60 feet to create a 4 inch line in the back yard. I figured it would be cheaper and faster to buy and install a SaniiFlo. I ordered it from Revain at a good price and after a few days. Very acceptable. It arrived and I started installing.1. nice little space under the sink and I installed it flush on the left. 2. This was to connect the existing sink drain to the correct top outlet. This was the quickest and easiest part hole.) (no automatic vents allowed) 4. Finally I ran a 1" PVC as a new drain line coming out the wall and on the outside of the house and then in the attic. I ran about 35 feet to a 2" cast iron vent pipe, drilled a hole and inserted 1" pipe, then sealed it with Dow silicone gasket, hooked up the unit and went to the races. Very quiet and fast pumping. I would recommend this as an option. Note: This device was the smallest I wanted to try but it underused as it could charge more devices and it still worked great. This one was only for greywater.
