Review on 🎡 Crosley C3 Belt-Drive Turntable: 2-Speed Audio-grade MDF, RCA Output, White by Cassie Turner

Might be a good setup for beginners, but DO NOT use the built-in preamp

This is not a bad table for a beginner's basic setup. I have some much nicer tables but I bought this one as a fun item. Build quality isn't bad considering the price with a solid MDF base and aluminum top. However, don't use the built-in preamp as it sounds terrible with penetrating highs and no bass. A cheap $15 Pyle preamp will make it sound a lot better. From indigestible to pretty good. It's not high end, but it looks pretty good and performs very well for the price considering it's used with an external preamp. I think they shouldn't have included a built-in feature as it hurts the product instead of helping it. II was willing to send it back as it was impossible to hear with the built in preamp. Otherwise, it outperforms the Base Orbit I once had, which wobbled its MDF board like crazy.

Pros
  • . The audio quality MDF base is uniquely shaped to provide a stable base for the turntable, isolate the low-vibration synchronous motor, and enhance conversation initiation enable.
Cons
  • Can be damaged
