The screen looked good at Best Buy so I decided to take a chance on a great price. Now not only do I have to return it, I spent an hour over the weekend troubleshooting in a hot Arizona office with no air conditioning. What do I mean by cheap? Instead of a dual hinge mechanism that would allow for greater height and tilt, you have just one base hinge that tilts the entire flat panel toward the base. If you try to adjust it without knowing exactly where the loop is, you'll end up with a painful wobble that will make you think the thing is about to break. The monitor itself looked fine when it was on compared to the 10 year old DELL standard definition my company provided me with. Windows 7 recognized it immediately. After 5 minutes the screen went blank and then lit up again. I thought there might be something wrong with the setup so I changed the DVI to VGA cable and tried other cables but it kept blinking and then back on. I can't remember the morse code from my boy scout days, but I think the monitor was either sending out an SOS signal or a technician had embedded code in it warning me that the monitor was a piece of junk. I made a video that I wanted to post but it's not worth it. Tip: Just pay another $10 and buy something with a name you can trust. Hopefully this will help save some other poor consumers from the big mistake of wasting time.
