So I thought long and hard about buying Glencairn glasses. I went to my local liquor store and looked at a few and didn't really feel like they were very good glasses. I felt they were too sophisticated and would actually detract from the bourbon sipping experience. So I looked around a bit and found these glasses. I pondered my decision, read the negative and positive reviews, and finally pulled the trigger. These glasses bring very positive emotions when drinking bourbon. With bourbon, you really want to inhale as you drink to get the full flavor. This glass allows your mouth and nose to be in the glass at the same time, enhancing the bourbon drinking experience. The glass is thin and has a nice heavy base. Unfortunately, while I usually like my iced bourbon, my ice scoops don't work. If I melt them a little, they can. I start by just adding some water, which is perfect for this glass. If you are a bourbon lover then this is the glass for you.
