This is a good water sock, not nearly sturdy enough to be a water shoe. I wear mine on concrete and the beach and back. I think these would shred on the concrete. I found the fit a bit short. I wear a 8.5 new balance and ordered a women’s 9 - I have very long toes - maybe that’s the issue. The toggle on the zipper turned sideways on first go and I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it back correctly, not what I want to be doing with a pack of kids all wanting to get on the beach or when a water class is starting. For indoor use only these are pretty comfy. The ones without zippers look different and maybe have a different sole and fit.
