GARBAGE - NOT FREE

The manufacturer claims this product is BPA-free, but if you look at the bottom of the container you can see it's plastic #6 which is NO BPA is. . The product also does not provide a true hermetic seal and only gives a cursory impression of it by displacing some air. Coffee and other dry foods in these containers spoil fairly quickly. They might be ok for packaging something like laundry detergent or dishwashing liquid or in packets but I wouldn't recommend them for dry consumables. vacuum sealing. Consider AirScape canisters instead, they are much better at displacing air.
