This came back in a reusable case and instructions on how to wrap it but it wasn't stated at the top or bottom but the picture on the cover shows an indentation at the top. I have decided to try both ways and I can say that there is no right or wrong way, just what is right for you based on your needs. The strap runs very true to size with a small power reserve.
