I wear this type of "woven leather" belt whenever possible instead of formal ones because the waist can be finely adjusted and is therefore more comfortable. But those found in US retail stores are often unreliable; and the leather strips wear quickly at the buckle insertion points and subsequently break. This product is beautifully finished. The leather looks durable and the threads are woven almost perfectly. The buckle is also solid with no flaws that I could see from the box. The manufacturer can be proud! I've ordered both brown with black accents on top and bottom, as well as brown that the seller calls "Carmel". In the US, we would describe the latter as medium brown. As for length, I suggest not relying on the ambiguous terms "small,” "medium,” etc. Instead, measure the length of the belt you are currently using. and it is comfortable, go to the length chart in the listing for that product and order the same length. As far as the essential width is concerned, that suits me. In my experience, the narrower such a leather belt is, the faster it stretches and the threads dissolve. This might be the best everyday belt purchase I've ever made; and for the price. Wow!
