It is often such an ordeal that I dread the time for dental hygiene, procrastinating and often even skipping days. This mouth-shaped toothbrush makes brushing your teeth quick and easy because you can brush so many teeth at once. However, I don't think it cleans as well as a manual toothbrush, but that's just my opinion, I'm not a dentist, I really don't know...just seems like it. What I'm trying to say is if your kid lets you brush your teeth, keep up the good work LOL. But if your kids like mine, try this product. My theory is that it's definitely better than what we did before. My 2 year old often needs to be restrained to brush her teeth effectively…. She likes holding toothbrushes and sucking up water and toothpaste, but that doesn't really count...but she hates when I brush her teeth, molars and all. When she puts this electric toothbrush in her mouth and sucks out the water and toothpaste, it actually brushes a decent amount of her teeth! I still have to get molars for her by moving this mouth-shaped toothbrush back and forth, but it's still faster, easier and less painful for everyone involved (mostly me) :) compared to a manual toothbrush or even a regular ( not U-shaped) toothbrush electric toothbrush. And we've tried them all... I don't think this toothbrush does a great job of brushing teeth, but at least they clean easily, which is an improvement. This toothbrush is definitely for babies and toddlers who hate brushing their teeth.
