Dusty sand in the engine

Value for money approx. transparency. Thickness. This clutch assembly arrived sealed and well packaged. However, it was dirty and dusty in a sealed plastic bag. Gathered in the desert? When working with the pulley I noticed a feeling of sand. I had to spend an hour completely disassembling, cleaning and re-lubricating the assembly. Looks like high quality metal and workmanship.
