Seat height is slightly higher GOOD
I have 4 other black vinyl Stakmore folding chairs. One broke after being "forced" to open it. The leg cracked. I bought a set of 4 a year ago and have used them twice. I ordered two more but it's time with beige fabric upholstery. The seat seems more comfortable to me. It's just a little higher. HOWEVER, both old and new chairs are difficult to open and close. Haven't tried spraying WD 40 on the joints yet. The chairs look beautiful, just remember there is a real 'art' in learning how to set them up and then store them.
