Excellent soundproofing properties; not very strong

I really like this product. Provides excellent rejection of ambient noise and noise. However, a warning about this. If you have imperfect equipment or source material, this device is so good at revealing any imperfections. When listening to certain tracks on my phone, I hear a hissing noise floor that wasn't present with other headphones. For rock 'n' roll this is not a problem, but for classical or other music with softer passages it will be very annoying. But I like using it for phone calls because it can block out distracting ambient noise. The only other minor complaint I would point out is that the earbuds come with different sized ear pads, but it's difficult to get them on the speaker at times. However, overall this is a great product and I am happy with the purchase. UPDATE: This product only lasted me about nine months. And I wouldn't say I abused it at all. It features a small switch/mic module built into the right earcup, a two-piece compression switch design that adds a mute function. The problem I had was the top kept falling off until I finally lost it completely. And shortly after that, the right earpiece stopped working at all. The warranty is only 90 days so I'm out of luck. I might end up buying another one of these, but I'll probably shop around a bit to see what else is out there.
