Excellent soundproofing properties; not very strong

I really like this product. Provides excellent rejection of ambient noise and noise. However, a warning about this. If you have imperfect equipment or source material, this device is so good at revealing any imperfections. When listening to certain tracks on my phone, I hear a hissing noise floor that wasn't present with other headphones. For rock 'n' roll this is not a problem, but for classical or other music with softer passages it will be very annoying. But I like using it for phone calls…

Great sound, thin wires

If you've never tried balanced headphones, you should. They sound great, but have the disadvantage of not being able to respond over a wide enough frequency range to fully cover the entire audio spectrum with a single device - that's why you see so many 2-, 3- and 4-strip structures of amplification. IEM class. 161s wisely try to cover mid-bass and mid-treble frequencies well, and unlike 151s, they can be used with a turntable without bass boost or an amp (although they get better with an amp).

High mids, clean lovers REJOICE!

I'll keep it short and sweet. They are out of production! I'm not anti-bass at all, but every day I prefer crisp low frequencies to loud bass. Everything you read about low frequencies is true. I prefer monitor quality headphones (true tone, flat tuning) and have been looking for great and affordable IEMs (in-ear monitors). Unfortunately, in the upper to mid-range price range, you really have to decide which end of the spectrum you want to go for. I bought a pair of Klipsch x10 and found them…

star sound. But hey, what about the build quality?

I've noticed that Meelectronics reps read reviews and reply often, so I'd like to ask a question: why do your flagship IEMs with Class A+ sound have such cheap build quality compared to the much cheaper model that you sell ? I mean exactly M-11+. While it sounds too soft, weak, and bottom-heavy for my liking, the clear cables are strong (I use them during workouts), flexible, tangle-resistant, and stylish. Meanwhile, the A161P's cables are tangled, stretchy, black rubber materials that remind…

Awesome sound, disturbing design

I've given them about 24 hours to break in and I have a lot to talk about. I bought them as an upgrade for my trusted M6P set which broke after three years of heavy use almost daily. I decided I wanted to go a little higher so I did a little digging and found that MEElectronics once again offers a very well established kit that is widely considered to be well above its price point. With that in mind, I bit the bullet and chose her. A bit against my background - I'm not a music lover but I like…

Excellence best in earbud headphones

I have a very long bus ride to and from work every day and having headphones is extremely important. Especially since a lot of dumbbells I ride with are very noisy in many ways. I lost one of the earbuds on my Klipsch S-4s and ended up losing the earbuds completely and had to find another set. I stumbled across them and gave them a try for a few months hoping to give a quality rating. Comfort: excellent. None of the plastic parts come into contact with my ear, which is great. These buds come in

wowtastic! Everyone rated (4.5 stars)

I needed a replacement for my Sony noise isolating headphones (forgot the model but they mostly sold for $60 at Best Buy and was best 2 years ago). My top requirements were: 1) Noise canceling headphones 2) Improved sound all round but more mids and less bass (too painful when I have migraines) 3) Less than $100 ($50 ideally) 4) Comfortable to wear. .com for ideas, followed by in-depth audiophile reviews and comparative tests of 100 products. I narrowed it down to a few options and wanted to…
