I bought the "naked feeling" shorts after owning a "hugged feeling" short from the same brand. To me, I can't tell the fabrics apart. These don't feel brushed or "peachy" soft, they just feel like a regular smooth spandex type material. But they still fit well, and the lack of a front seam is a big design improvement for avoiding front wedgies. The light purple color does show underwear lines easily, so it's better to wear with seamless underwear.
