The scent of lavender is very distinctive, although not overpowering. The outside of the socks is soft, the color is very comfortable. I'm glad they have handles at the bottom because the socks have gel inside and are a bit difficult to walk on. It feels like you're slipping. I could climb stairs in it without any problems, but going down was a bit more difficult. I wore these socks for a few hours and they moisturized my feet a bit but nothing major. My feet were much softer but I still had cracks. The smell is just as strong as when you unpacked it. After a few days I can still smell them. The pack also recommends wearing them daily to get the full effect, so that's probably key.
