Review on 🎧 Ultimate Performance: Plantronics Voyager 5200 Bluetooth Headset for Crystal Clear Wireless Communication by Charles Alvey

I've had a dozen Plantronics bluetooth headsets over the past decade with no problems, but this one was disappointing. If it works, it gets a "pro" star: -- PROS: If it works, the noise cancellation is better (according to callers on the other end of the line). The battery life is good, the device is comfortable. CONS: In most cases, the headset does not automatically connect to the phone. I need to restart the Bluetooth radio on my phone and/or reconnect my headset. I thought it might be a phone but my old Plantronics Voyager has no problem with this phone. I notice that the headset says "phone unavailable" but my phone says it's connected. that is new. At this point I can usually reconnect the headset without error, but when I turn off the headset it won't reconnect. -- FIRMWARE: I thought it might be a firmware issue and an update is available. However, I cannot update the firmware. I use their PLT app to update and it crashes with error 400109 every time. I'm still waiting for an email from Plantronics regarding this issue. :-(
