This ring surprised me when it arrived as it was heavier than expected. Very tasty, just what I expected. The ring gives quite a bit of "shine" but not enough to make it look like a suit. One minor complaint: there was a small soldering or dipping issue (I suspect) which resulted in a bit of extra metal/material sticking out which scratched my finger when twisting, attaching or detaching. It was easily fixed with a nail file and will not stop me from buying this item again (which I could very well buy a second time!). This ring has not caused discoloration but is not worn daily. The only maintenance I do is clean with mild, non-abrasive soap and water, wash my hands and buff dry with a soft, clean cloth before returning to my finger or ring holder.
