It’s a little hard to install, it would have been much easier if the plate was bigger than the magnet - the plate is almost the same size as the magnet and hence may not catch well if the installation is not accurate.The only issue I see is - there are 2 strips on the magnetic where the ferrous plate catches - they are not level on all magnets and hence will not catch with full strength. I have seen this issue with 2 out of 6 catches.

These were a breeze to install. Very sturdy. There were a few of the strike plates that wouldn’t set with the adhesive tape. Other than that no issues.

These magnetic closers work really well except for the included screws. Even with pilot holes the screw heads stripped really easily, even when hand screwing with a screwdriver. I'd highly suggest buying alternate screws if you're going to buy these. Or maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

The hinges on my 22 year old kitchen cabinets were worn out and several cabinets wouldn’t close all the way. I found these magnets and decided to give them a try. The magnets are good and strong. They were easy to install. Now my cabinet doors close all the way! It was a very inexpensive solution. I am once again a happy homeowner.

Reduced rating because package was opened and was missing some adhesive strips. Not returning as can still mount without. Made installation a bit trickier without them. Product itself works as expected

I found the design nice an compact. The magnets seems great. The only thing that hurt the success in my application is the distance from the door to the anchor point on the shelf. The place where the magnet had to be was too deep and they wouldn’t secure the cabinet door as they couldn’t make contact. I returned the item.

Save yourself some time and frustration and purchase some better screws from the hardware store before attempting to install these. See my picture of a ruined screw.After purchasing better screws, installation of these magnet latches was a breeze. The magnets themselves are good and the adhesion really helps with lining up both pieces. My only complaint is at the least bit of resistance, the screws strip too easy. I predrilled the hold and tried many bits that 'should' have worked for the size heads these have and almost every screw I've installed has stripped. Quality of magnets is fine as well as strike plate but dear god you would have to try so hard to design a more terrible screw. Just go buy screws from the hardware store and throw the ones that come with this away. It will save you so much time even accounting for the drive to Home Depot. The screws heads are not the correct shape for ANY size Phillips bit. The drill bit will wobble in the tiny screw head and it will turn sideways every time you try to drill it in. These are well made, I wanted to replace the old latches that were 2 round rollers, unfortunately, these will not fit in the center where the old latches were. The only place they will fit is on the bottom shelf, while they would work there, I have some items that just barely slide in due to the height, so putting these on the bottom could get in the way. Nice solid magnets but the screws are pointless. They are cheap and break.Go ahead and buy new screws if you choose these. Magnets work well but the screw are not useable. It's nice that the magnet plate is adhesive and you get a perfect placement.

These did not have the double sided sticky tape on them as shown in picture's and videos. This was one of the reasons I chose this item. It still served it's purpose but description is misleading.

These are very easy to install compared to others. The magnetic strength is very good. Overall very happy with the product, I even bought it again.

The latches themselves are top quality. Throw the bag of screws that comes with them in the trash. Go to your hardware store and buy as box of screws for 5 bucks. You might be tempted to think, if I pre-drill I can turn them in by hand with a small screwdriver. No you can't. These aren't even worth saving in your screw bins. They aren't useful for anything. Very strong. Works to keep my pet hamster out of our kitchen cupboards that won't close properly. I wish both magnetic pieces, not just one, had a sticky strip to help install.

Do you like easily installed projects? If so, you can buy this but get better screws. With predrilling, these screws will conveniently round off just enough that the magnet slides and doesn’t work right. First one installed easily and the rest kept rounding off. It came together with different screws.
