These shorts are very comfortable. They will not bleed when washed in hot water. I don't even think they've really shrunk considering they're cotton. I'm 5ft 4in, 115lbs, I usually wear XS but I have the big one. The reason is that it says "teenager". Also, reading the answers to the questions, I didn't want shorts with boots. I only wanted shorts. The plus size is perfect as my butt doesn't stick out. The belt is quite thick and doesn't feel cheap. These are great summer shorts and I will be using them for both indoor workouts and outdoor runs. I probably wouldn't use them in a gym because of the specific equipment and exercises, and also because of my modesty. I would say for bolder people I would use black ones for the gym due to the sweating.
