Review on 🍑 Peachtree Audio M24 Bamboo-Powered Speakers (Pair) by Patricia Muller

I have been looking for the perfect pair of desktop speakers for several years now. I have never used a Peachtree product but so far I am absolutely delighted with the M24. I was previously a longtime Audioengine user and while I still admire the A5s for the performance they deliver, the M24s outperform most other AE offerings. I think the M24 is about as big as you can comfortably go and still consider it a "desktop" speaker. And I have a bamboo table, so I was very happy to find a bamboo speaker of this size. The sound is fantastic and the sheer number of ports is overwhelming. And the remote! I had no idea that both bass and treble could be adjusted via the remote control! What a great bonus. But my favorite feature, which I haven't been able to teach any AE speaker, is the overly simple M24 Bluetooth profile, which can support multiple simultaneous connections. Plug it into both your computer and your iPhone/iPad and it simply defaults to whatever audio signal it receives first. (By comparison, AE speakers require you to fully unplug the first source before plugging in the other.) I switch between my computer and iPad for video conferencing and media playback, so it's absolute paradise. And when nothing is connected and BT is selected as input, M24 will automatically switch to pairing mode. No need to reach for the speaker to press extra buttons! And in a really crazy under-the-radar feature, when you pause the music the M24s lower the volume slightly. It looks like the Peachtree engineers really thought of everything.
