Review on 🔌 Stainless Steel Weatherproof Receptacle by WEBANG by Dakota Afzalian

I like the idea behind this product I installed this outlet on the side of my pickup truck so I could use power tools or a portable fridge/freezer on the road, camping , picnic etc. I would give 5 stars if the mounting brackets were better matched to the thin mounting surface however this product should never be installed the way I did it to prevent it from moving I did after installing and routing the cables styrofoam sprayed all over the outside of the box, especially the corners where the box hits the sides wall of the truck, inside the fender arch. This spray adhesive is so strong that it prevents the box from moving or shifting and also seals the box and prevents the cable from moving. I understand that this device is not intended for installation in a moving vehicle or in the side panel of a pickup truck. But it's an excellent idea and use for this type of spring loaded socket. Please note that I only gave 2 stars for ease of installation, but that is primarily due to the way I used the product and not a design flaw in the product itself. I hope the manufacturer now manufactures a version of this box specifically designed to fit in the side panel of a pickup truck / moving vehicle.
