Updated review after a few months: Power cord is tiny The Jack is smaller than standard headphone jack and is Acer property. It worked under normal use. Now it's hard to hold it. Soon it won't hold at all. A laptop is useless if you can't hold it. What for a crap to connect to the network.don't buy this junk!Battery life is also a lie.Look at my photo, 100% charged and only half of what it claims to last.I just got one Received it in a few days. Impressed so far. It's multifunctional. Pros: 2:3 screen resolution displays full web pages, which my 16:9 screens can't without scrolling left or right The 13.5-inch screen may seem small compared to the 15.6 widescreen, but it's not, you actually see more on it. I'm glad we're moving away from 16:9 and when I want to watch a movie I use my plasma TV with surround sound, not my laptop. That noise isn't bad, it's getting loud. I love the 2-in-1 design that folds up like a tablet. I like the fingerprint reader for instant login. It's super, super light. I like the touch screen, now I can't do without the touch screen. You get 25GB of free cloud storage from Acer for a year, so you don't need to store documents on the SSD. The SSD is very quiet, there is no noise by itself. This laptop is as quiet as my Chromebook. I'm glad I chose an SSD over a noisy, hot and spinning SATA HDD. It also has the latest SSD, so it's very fast. It loads instantly, literally as fast as my Chromebook. The pen is charged in the docking station. It actually places a crosshair on the screen so you know what it's going to click on before you click it. Cons: (1) The power button is hard to find as it's in the middle of a row of ports on the right side. And find it half the time without looking. (2) The edges of the case are quite thick, sharp and hard. (3) The headphone jack is located far back on the right side, away from the cables. You should change the position of the power button and headphone jack. (4) it is a little difficult to open. (5) The heat vent is at the bottom so the heat cannot escape when folded like a tablet. As an SSD it doesn't get hot so it's not a problem, but it's a silly design. My fan didn't have to work much at all and it worked for me for hours. (6) The battery life is grossly exaggerated, with normal use you get half a day, that's it. None of these downsides affect functionality for me as a regular college user, this will be ideal for many years of college work.
