Took a whole 5 pound sack to fill a 17 x 17 pouf. It still seems to have room to get tougher. The description says there is no smell, but the product definitely has some kind of chemistry. While stuffing the stool, my head literally hurt and I felt nauseous. Even after closing the stool's lid, I can still smell the chemicals when I'm around. I'm glad I have it outside so I don't have to breathe it in. I definitely wouldn't use it on a pet bed as they breathe in that smell and if your pet tears the bed up I am sure they will get sick from ingesting the product.
