Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't meet my expectations. NOT "wireless " in the usual sense.

Update 6/2021: High temperature. Item no longer works. One star deducted. The low temperature is a plus. still working. This is my first glue gun, so first I'll say a few words about hot gluing for other beginners: 1- Lay out a work mat. glue drips. Try turning the box over and laying it flat.2 - Unlike a fixed-speed drill or other power tools, the speed at which you pull the trigger will determine how much glue is applied. You'll need to learn how to slowly press on small areas or apply a thin layer of glue.3 - Do a few "practice projects" first. Hot Bonding is a skill that wants to be learned. It looks easier in the online video than it really is.4 - Hard to find full size color/glitter glue sticks for artwork. For such purposes, use mini.5 - first release the trigger, and then pull it back in a sideways or circular motion so that a long unwanted thread of glue does not form. Particularities. About this hot glue gun: 1- The word "wireless" is at best misleading and at worst completely wrong. There is no battery; it depends on the residual heat. In this category, ALL glue guns are "cordless"2. The three-position switch shows that the developers have no idea about security or human factors. The off position is in the middle, making it difficult to be sure you've turned the weapon completely off. A skilled designer would place the off position on the bottom and the high temperature position on the top. THIS IS DANGEROUS. You need to make sure it's off.3 - While the gun is on its base, it's not as stable as it would be with a lot of weight on the bottom, as in the case of a battery. A modest blow can bring him down. Now I prefer the front footrest for more stability. I glued cardboard to the base for stability and to catch the inevitable drips. 4 - The power indicator works. 5 - 12 sticks may seem too big. At 4 inches, you'll run through them quickly. I have doubts about the quality of the glue stick. Great for cardboard and the like, but not so good for other surfaces.6 - After two attempts to save the sandals, the sandals failed. Perhaps bending and bending is beyond the scope of adhesive design.
