This is NOT a wooden table.

I like the idea of this desk and it works well. However, the description says "brown wood countertop" but it's not wood. It's some kind of chipboard with a very cheap vinyl coating that's already peeling off in the corners. Rather than sending it back I'll probably just cut off a piece of wood and redo the top. I also think the $33 price tag was high, especially when I found a very similar product for $18 on another site. live and learn.
