Review on BrightstarDB by John Huskisson

I like that it's open source (as opposed as other commercial products). This makes me feel more comfortable about using this software in my organization. The documentation could be better for new users/developers who are starting out or have limited experience working wtih DBMSs. Also there needs to be some way to run tests against our db without having to go through their GUI app which seems buggy at times. They have really helped us get past issues we were experiencing when trying to work with SQL Server databases from within Power BI. I like that it's open source (which makes sense since they're making money), easy for me as developer/admin user because there are many tutorials out their available online! The search feature could be more robust but hey - its free software right? You have no choice in this type matter unfortunately :). So far nothing really comes up against any other DBMSs or NoSQL solutions when using BSDB which has been nice considering we've used them quite alot over our 4+ years at my current place now :).
