Updated July 11, 2021 The seller saw my 2 star review and offered to send me a black mic. I received the mic yesterday and it's still more silver than black. I've upped my rating from 2 to 3 stars for good customer service, but it's still not a black mic. If you don't care about the color, the microphone works fine. I'm interested in color, so that was important to me. Functionally I have no problems. My main criticism is that the item is dark silver rather than black. I paid more for this mic because I wanted a black one. They must have run out of black color at the factory or the people making this thing are color blind. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but black is my favorite color and this mic makes it stand out rather than blend in.
