Absolute revelation: It's a fantastic little camera and it's cheap. People who place too much hope in themselves are doomed to disappointment; Doing it with this camera and expecting it to be National Geographic quality is going to be disappointing. It's easy to forget that sometimes you have to start somewhere. That we were not born natural artists, with a camera or a paintbrush in hand. This is a fantastic little camera for beginners. Here are a few things about cameras. Megapixels don't matter, zoom matters. But when the zoom doesn't work (rimshot), megapixels matter. So, in a camera with a lot of megapixels and poor zoom, megapixels play a big role. This allows you to edit and crop photos without sacrificing quality. ISO refers to how much light enters the lens to illuminate your subject. The higher the ISO, the more light and less need for flashlight, flashlight, matches, etc. This camera uses AA batteries and a full-size SD card. Grab a pack of 4 batteries and a Class 10 SD card and you're good to go. Take lots and lots of photos. Get used to the idea that "there are no more movies". Go there and make mistakes. Take lots of silly shots so you know what to do when the perfect one comes up.
