and the photos are good. But it eats batteries like a monster cookie

It's light, small and portable and the photos are great. But he eats batteries like a cookie monster. I can take maybe 20 photos, turn off the camera between photos, and then the batteries die. You shouldn't be selling a camera like this and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Pros

AA battery, high MP, great price, easy to use

Bought for the site. Have 2 of these. They say in the office and if anyone needs to take a picture they are ready to go. We take an average of 600 photos a week and the photo quality is amazing for what we use it for. When I watch it on a computer, the high MP makes it easy to scale with minimal distortion. This camera has saved me thousands of dollars as I was able to prove my point of installing it correctly and replacing any damage. What you need to build. And I mentioned the ability to…

This little camera is great value for money

This little camera is great value for money. I lost my old camera (it was later found after being digested by a sofa) and I needed a new one. I received this item for one main reason: it looked almost exactly like my 2 year old GE camera that was lost. Upon receipt, it was basically the same product. It worked the same as the GE C1440 W and I was very happy with this little thing. It takes really good pictures and be sure to use the mode apps. They really help. I was traveling in Morocco on a…

Everyone has to start somewhere

Absolute revelation: It's a fantastic little camera and it's cheap. People who place too much hope in themselves are doomed to disappointment; Doing it with this camera and expecting it to be National Geographic quality is going to be disappointing. It's easy to forget that sometimes you have to start somewhere. That we were not born natural artists, with a camera or a paintbrush in hand. This is a fantastic little camera for beginners. Here are a few things about cameras. Megapixels don't…

Great camera with a big flaw

As mentioned, this camera drains the batteries quickly. Just buy rechargeable AA batteries for this camera (or find alkaline batteries for a very good price). Otherwise, the optical quality of this camera is excellent for a compact camera in its price range. Color reproduction, optical (and digital) zoom, a variety of manual settings and ease of use are top notch. The battery issue is actually a plus for those looking for a good deal on a camera, as a small downside of this nature makes the…

Ok camera in photo and photo

I bought this camera for a child about a year ago. I wanted to take the time to find this out before submitting a review. I was looking for a cheap camera that takes decent pictures and from a brand known for their cameras, or at least electronics. There are a few cameras from a trusted brand that cost less than $100. The only cameras for kids are more like toys and have a resolution of around 1MP, so this was our best find. The camera is compact, easy to use and takes decent pictures…

Bad photos, SD cards not all work.

I've just received a new high speed SD card from Sandisk (which claims to be extremely reliable and fast - I can't say if it's reliable but it's definitely fast) . Somehow I don't like this camera. It's 32GB which I intentionally chose instead of a 64GB card as some devices with cards larger than 32 won't work. It works with my MP3 players and other cameras. The picture quality is pretty bad. My Moto E4 has 13 megapixels versus the Kodak's 16, and yet the Motorola shots (the camera itself isn't

It seems good at first, but it keeps getting worse.

(See updates below this original review for updates.) This is a great little instant pocket camera if you use rechargeable batteries and don't mind charging them frequently. This is of course far from the quality of a DSL camera, but the price (especially with a discount) is significantly lower. The camera would not work in cold weather when all my other electronics were working properly. However, this was with the cheap batteries that came with the camera. However, the camera discharges fairly
