Review on KitchenAid KEK1222PT 1 25 Liter Electric Kettle by Bima ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are several shortcomings, in principle, it corresponds to the norm.

To make an electric kettle in the "usual" form factor is an unconditional design find. The appearance is very interesting, attracts attention. But because of this, it turned out that the kettle is not very convenient to use. It is not convenient to remove the lid and pour water into it - the protruding handle interferes. There is no window to control the water level - you have to open and look every time. To control the overflow, there is something like a measuring ruler inside, but it's still inconvenient. But thanks to the gripping comfortable handle, pouring water from the kettle into cups is extremely cool !, and the stream of water from the spout is very clear, it does not splatter. The walls are metal without any thermal insulation, so be careful: it is easy to burn yourself with a freshly boiled kettle. And it cools down pretty quickly. At the very moment of boiling, some extraneous unpleasant itchy sound appears. I never understood what resonated there. I assume that this is unique to this instance.

Pros
  • Interesting design. Manufacturing and assembly quality.
Cons
  • High price. Controversial ergonomics.
