When I saw this product for the first time I thought it's some kind of trick. After looking at YouTube reviews and then trying it out, it seems to do exactly what it claims to do. It's not the longest of the versions, but it's still ridiculously long. However, it works as promised. You can fold it up and still use it and carry it around. Then it can be opened and expanded to the desired area. In my experience I have shown an improvement in clarity and range over my whip antennas. That being said, your mileage will vary by radio and environment. I would recommend. Note: If you keep it folded, it will eventually create a small memory of that moment. In my experience, this does not affect the effectiveness. However, I have always left it open.
