Doesn't fit in base when assembled
Update:5 does not generally use and work well even when trying to keep it in place. I should have returned it, but it's too late. Most likely you will now have to buy a completely new blender. All parts are placed in a glass jar, but when placed on the base, it doesn't shrink completely. The parts fit well when not fully assembled, so there may be an issue with the threads on the black cap. We can still use the blender, but we have to hold it firmly in place. We've only used it once so hopefully everything will be fine. We don't want to buy a new blender.
