Review on 🌞 Cetaphil Absorbing Moisturizer Spectrum Sunscreen: Hydrating & Broad Protection for All-Day Sun Defense by Latasha Pizzino

Not sticky or greasy, but the fumes from this formula stung my eyes

Okay, that's it. So I bought this product because the first reviews I saw were good and what I was looking for - non-greasy, no sticky residue, with SPF. ok, let me just tell you everything. This moisturizer is good. The formula is very fluffy and runny but very comfortable on my skin, not greasy or sticky at all. but the smoke or some of it is burning my eyeballs! I swear I put that moisturizer on thinking maybe I got it right in my eyes so I rinsed my eyes and washed my face and everything and then very gently applied to my face but not near my eyes, and this moisturizer burns my eyeballs. somehow. I have combination skin (nose and cheeks are naturally quite dry and flaky, my chin and forehead are oily). My eyes are naturally dry and I use eye drops every day. Maybe that could be the cause of the burning, but I don't know why it's causing so much redness and irritation. I gave it 3 stars because I don't think it reacts the same way on everyone's skin and eyes as it does mine.

Pros
  • Beauty and personal care
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
