Not sticky or greasy, but the fumes from this formula stung my eyes

Okay, that's it. So I bought this product because the first reviews I saw were good and what I was looking for - non-greasy, no sticky residue, with SPF. ok, let me just tell you everything. This moisturizer is good. The formula is very fluffy and runny but very comfortable on my skin, not greasy or sticky at all. but the smoke or some of it is burning my eyeballs! I swear I put that moisturizer on thinking maybe I got it right in my eyes so I rinsed my eyes and washed my face and everything…

causes a burning sensation in the eyes

I bought this product for myself and my sister in law after reading the article Top 10 Pharmaceutical Moisturizers. We have oily skin and my sister-in-law is prone to breakouts. We knew this product contained sunscreen. Unfortunately none of us can test this product well as we can't get rid of the stinging in our eyes. I wore the product for several hours and did not apply it near my eyes. I tried to work with burning eyes for four hours and covered my eyes with a cool cloth. I had to wash my…

It's here - I feel everything here.

Not too far from use. I picked this as a Curology recommendation between the moisturizers I really want (thanks Revain Prime!). It appears to protect from the sun and smells the same as a waterproof sunscreen like Coppertone. It's weird getting used to constantly smelling like I'm about to go to the beach, and I find it off-putting even to those in the immediate vicinity. The formula is creamy but not as rich as something like Nivea Men SPF 15 or other moisturizers of the same consistency. For…

Excellent Commercial Clay Mask

(Corrected November 2019 in response to Dazze who correctly pointed out that this mask's ingredients are split between two sections of the label.) Let me preface, that we use many Cetaphil products in our house (as well as Cerave, which is very similar). Second, this is a great mask. This leaves most people's skin firm and fresh. A very light, absorbent moisturizer immediately after application will help keep it that way. Bentonite clay (there are several types) is often used in high quality…

I would buy it again, good for skin care

. The smell of clay isn't pleasant, which I like because it's clay, isn't it, which means it doesn't have any unnecessary fragrances added to it. When it dries it tightens the skin a bit, but the skin becomes smooth after I wash it off with warm water (as a guide). I also found that one of the blackheads on my nose came out on its own and the rest were easy to "scratch out" (as if I didn't have to pop them). I will update my review when I use it longer. I plan to use once a day. Although it is…

scalp protection! on Facial Moisturizers

I have to shave my head to deal with an autoimmune reaction caused by several industrial chemical cocktail concoctions ostensibly to "protect soldiers" during the Gulf Wars. After several rounds of active duty and subsequent VA treatment, I also developed a condition that resembled adult acne. While shaving has always irritated and dried out my skin, for years the pain from shaving, medication, moisturizing, and dealing with super oily skin outweighed the pain of the bleeding in my pillow. My…
